While Hong Kong’s scorching summer heat might have you dreaming of taking a dip in one of the city’s many stunning beaches, it’s best to stay indoors to escape the humidity and crowded beachside areas. Thankfully, a visit to the hotel pool is the perfect way to enjoy your time in the water with a delicious cocktail in hand – especially when you choose to stay at one of these luxury Hong Kong hotels that have their own pools.

Perched among the clouds atop Hong Kong’s tallest skyscraper, the Ritz Carlton’s sleek indoor pool is just as stunning as it is refreshing. With floor to ceiling windows, mirrored walls and even LED lights that showcase the illusion of coral reefs, you might just feel like you’re swimming in the clouds. The pool day wouldn’t be complete without a dip into the spa, too, which also boasts spectacular views of Victoria Harbour and is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Sleek and modern, this urban-inspired hotel takes the local city vibe to a whole new level. The slick interiors add to the hotel’s modern, yet relaxing atmosphere, which you can feel in their swimming pools as well. With both an indoor and outdoor pool, the hotel is the ideal place to go if you want to have some quality swim time, whilst enjoying a cocktail and the breathtaking view of the city skyline.

Located in the heart of Hong Kong’s bustling business centre, this hotel is the epitome of chic living. The pool is surrounded by glass walls, which gives it an infinity effect, and overlooks the bustling Causeway Bay area. The pool is also a great spot to soak up some sun, with plenty of loungers to go around and an outside bar to enjoy cocktails on a warm day.

With a beautiful, natural setting, this hotel’s stunning outdoor pool is the perfect place to cool down and take in the views of Victoria Peak and the South China Sea. There are plenty of loungers to sit back and relax on, as well as a whirlpool and a jacuzzi. The pool is also home to the hotel’s fitness center, which means it is an ideal place for a workout and a swim at the same time!

The pool is open from 6am to 10pm daily. It is closed on Mondays for cleaning. Entry to the pool is free of charge for guests staying at the hotel and members of Asaya. Otherwise, entrance costs are HK$17 on weekdays and HK$19 on weekends. Children under the age of three can enter for free as well. Those who wish to purchase day passes can do so online or at the pool entrance. Asaya membership is available for HK$1,080 and includes 12 complimentary day passes to the pool.
